Having sometimes glazed over for all the yearly updates shoes offer us new colours, new sole, new heel, and no one knows, I occasionally feel trepidation. Sure enough, the first glance through the Cruz, they faded on me. Soon, however, once giving them a second run through, the shoes I initially gave up on were leaving me reassessing what to expect from updates like the two-way stretch flat knit upper, or the deconstructed foam heel. One reason, as the fresh foam midsole suggests, is that the fit is more natural. And though it, would be mere hyperbole to declare it the pinnacle of shoe design they do really feel good. That’s what we really want.
